I/We acknowledge that the signee's / author(s) listed, upon receipt of two proofs, one digital and one hard copy galley proof for final review, approve the publication of their or their loved ones Q&A-style interview book through the private publication service of Legacy Life Books LLC.
I/We verify that upon my express approval to commence with publishing under Legacy Life Books LLC, at which point, I/We verify that there are no issues or conflicts involved in this publication, and take responsibility for checking the progress, checking the revision, and approve the final content and publication.
I/We verify that approval of the text after the final review will confirm your agreement to the information contained in the book, that you have complied with your responsibilities regarding the content, and give us authority to print.
I/We understand that when submitting, uploading, or otherwise providing written materials, photographs, voice and/or video recordings, or other content (collectively, the "Content"), I/we retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in that Content and merely give us a license to use the Content to provide the Services to you and for any other purpose you have agreed to (for example, if you have agreed to allow us to use your Content for marketing purposes).
I/We acknowledge that any and all opinions expressed, documented and/or published during this process are solely my own and do not express the views or opinions of Legacy Life Books or its employees. You agree to indemnify and hold us and our Associates harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, costs, actions, and expenses (including legal fees and costs on a full indemnity basis) as a result of undertaking the Project and/or compiling, recording, printing, or delivering the Author Background Content or the Life Book.
I/We give consent for my/our interview(s) to be transcribed, and give consent for Legacy Life Books LLC to record and reproduce potentially sensitive personal data you may disclose to us about you, for the sole purpose of ensuring accurate documentation, chronicling, and publishing of your Legacy Life Book(s). Please refer to item 2 in our Privacy Policy for additional information.
I/We give consent to Legacy Life Books LLC to process our personal data under applicable data protection legislation. Any personal information you provide to us is entirely voluntary, this information is provided at the control of the Author. We will only process it for the purpose of preparing the Author's Life Book.
Legacy Life Books LLC will not be liable for any loss of profits or economic loss nor for any indirect, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection to the Project; and our total aggregate liability, whether in contract or tort, to the Author and to you under or in connection to these Terms, the Project, and the production of the book or in respect to any of our or our Associates’ actions or omissions will not exceed the total amount due to us from you with respect to the Project.
You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of or believe there may be grounds to anticipate any actual or alleged Production Liability. You agree to cooperate with us in resisting or settling any Production Liability at your cost in accordance with the professional advice we receive. In any legal proceeding based on or arising from Production Liability, we shall have the right to defend ourselves with counsel of our own choosing, subject to your indemnity of our legal expenses.
I/We accept full responsibility regarding any personal information about third parties referred to in my/our story.
I/We give copyright permission and ownership to be published by Legacy Life Books LLC of my and/or my loved one's life story.
I agree to take full responsibility for the contents included, in their entirety, and final publication of my and/or my loved one's Life Book.
